In the early 1900s, fire protection was more of an art than a science. With ingenuity and a little elbow grease, Herbert S. Hiller became an expert in the “state of the art.” In 1919, he founded a small company that would grow to become a trusted worldwide leader in fire and life safety. The original Hiller operation began as a modest venture in New Orleans, Louisiana. The primary service was to design and provide fire protection equipment for commercial and shipyard customers.
Over 90 years later, the same ingenuity that Mr. Hiller brought to the fire protection industry is now being championed by the experienced personnel of The Hiller Companies. The operation has grown to eight states with facilities in Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, Virginia and Massachusetts.
