In 1702, the City of Mobile was founded by the French-Canadian Explorer Jean Baptiste La Moyne Sauer de’Bienville. Initially a rugged French out Post, Mobile has evolved into one of the most beautiful and unique cities in the United States, and, where Mardi Gras began! The City of Mobile boasts superb Gulf Coast cuisine, diverse and dramatic architecture, and an unrivaled natural beauty.  Tours include the National Naval Aviation Museum  and the Battleship USS Alabama, group dinner at the Mardi Gras Museum and the celebrated Bellingrath Gardens.
